3. Moccamaster Technivorm Cup-One
The Moccamaster Technivorm Cup-One is a single-cup brewer which uses the most renowned pour-over coffee. It's a more sustainable alternative to the typical 10-cup brewer since it uses less energy and produces significantly less coffee grounds. If you're a dedicated barista at home this is an excellent machine to purchase. It's fun to watch the brewing process unfold, too. The copper boiling element heats water rapidly and maintains temperatures in the range of 196-205degF (91-96degC) for optimal extraction. The cone-shaped brew tray guarantees that all the ground coffee is fully soaked to give it the full aroma and flavor. The brew time for one cup of coffee is only four minutes. This may not seem fast compared to other single cup brewers but it's still pretty quick in comparison to drip machine standards.
Like other Technivorm machines like the Cup-One is made in the Netherlands and backed by an impressive five-year warranty. It's more expensive than other automatic brewers but you'll get the security of knowing that it will be a reliable and stable maker for a long period of time.
This is among the most stunning brewing equipment on the market, especially if you choose one made of stainless steel. The brushed finish looks stunning and compliments any kitchen design. It's easy to use and clean, too. After each use, simply throw away the used filters and coffee grounds and wash the brew pot. This brewer is not able to make cold brew or espresso. This is why it's not our top choice.

The only downsides we noticed with this machine were that it takes longer to heat up compared to other models and that the water tank does not have markings for cups or ounces. These are minor issues and the coffee brewed by this machine was very excellent, with a wonderful flavor and texture, especially in the espresso. It's also quiet, even while running the grinder and brewing coffee. This is the quietest super-automatic machine we've ever tested. A real boon for those who live in apartments. The to-go function allows you to pour coffee directly into a cup, which is great for those in an urgent situation.
